Version 2 Highlights

The following features are new to version 2.0 of the HERE Client:

Tanks Detail

Detailed information about aboveground and underground storage tanks is now available for certain sites.

Import Task Postponement

The HERE Client now provides the ability to postpone data synchronization tasks for when it is more convenient.

New Search Capabilities

Two new criteria have been added to the Search Criteria page. Sites can be queried by both their primary facility name and any alternate names. In addition, sites can be searched by their Fire District.

Chemical Mixtures Detail

For sites containing information on chemicals, detail about any chemicals that are mixtures is displayed in the Chemical Details section.

Additional Mapping Options

Additional mapping options are now available, including a new built-in viewer as well as support for ArcGIS Explorer.

Streamlined Data Request Process

The HERE Client now provides the ability to request access to a State's data from within the HERE Client by clicking a link.

New User Policy Report

A full list of all users and their flow permissions can be displayed from directly within the HERE Client.

Site Hyperlinks for Facilities

Additional detail about HERE facilities can be found by clicking on a hyperlinked facility ID in the Site Detail page.

Proxy Configuration Integrated with Internet Properties

The proxy configuration for the HERE Client is now integrated with the Internet Properties configuration in the Control Panel.

Vista and SQL Server 2008 Compatibility

The latest version of the HERE Client is compatible with the Microsoft Vista operating system and the SQL Server 2008 database platform. It will continue to work under Windows XP and SQL Server 2005 as well.
